Day 3 & 4 – Tarangire National Park
Breakfast at your lodge. Morning and afternoon game drive.  The parks name is derived from the Tarangire River, the park’s only source of permanent water. In the dry season this river is the lifeline, attracting much of the game. Huge herds of elephants, greater kudu, and fringe-ear oryx are what the park is synonymous with. In addition, leopard and tree-climbing pythons often inhabit the trees. Due to the low volumes of traffic in the park, the game is “wild”, being unaccustomed to vehicles, this offers a truly unique experience. Overnight at Swala camp on full board basis.

Nestled in a remote pocket of Tarangire National Park, Swala is sited in a copse of majestic acacia trees at the edge of the Gurusi wetlands and the unfurling savannah beyond. The stands of ancient baobab trees, large family herds of elephants, prolific bird life and dry season concentrations of wildlife make Tarangire the classic Africa of lore – feted by explorers, immortalized in documentaries and sought after by the discerning traveller. This picturesque safari hideaway is exclusive in the southwestern corner of Tarangire National Park, affording guests private gameviewing, wilderness luxury, and a privileged glimpse of an Africa, untrammelled by tourism.

Day 5 – Tarangire/ Ngorongoro

This enormous park supports every variety of animal imaginable  - from large predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah to the smaller herbivores they prey on. Dinner Overnight at Kusini Camp on full board basis.

Day 8 & 9 – Southern Serengeti plains

The area around Kusini is noted for its lion and cheetah population as well as excellent leopard sightings. Game viewing is superb throughout the year as there are large resident populations of predators, giraffe, buffalo and other plains game in the area immediately surrounding Kusuni. Nearby sites such as the Moru Kopjes are also reknowned for good resident game.
The area around Kusini Camp is visited by the Migration between the months of January and April but it should be noted that this is a grazing pattern and therefore experienced in the general area for this period.
