Detail Itinerary

Day 1 – Great Rift Valley (Lake Magadi region)
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – Nairobi, you will be welcomed by our representative. A drive down the escarpement through the Great Rift Valley floor past Lake Magadi to the beautiful Shompole where you will be dropped off. Overnight at Shompole Lodge on full board basis.
Activities :-guided game walks and mountain biking, canoeing on the Ewaso Nyiro river (seasonal), bush meals.

Day 2 & 3 – Great Rift Valley (Lake Magadi region)
Breakfast at the lodge. Game activities during the day. .Overnight at Shompole Lodge on full board basis.

Day 3 – Laikipia
After breakfast catch your charter flight to Nairobi. Catch your connecting scheduled flight to Loisaba, a private working game ranch. This grassland area forms the bridge between Kenya lush south and parched north. As you drive to your lodge watch out for herds of impalas, Grant gazelles, and African buffalo as you enter Laikipia Area. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon game activities offered by the Lodge. overnight at Loisaba Lodge on full board basis.

Day 4 & 5 – Laikipia
Breakfast. You can engage in activities for the next two days such as day and night game drives, bush breakfasts, sundowners, guided walking safaris, camel trekking, mountain biking, river rafting (seasonal), visits to local tribal ‘enk’angs’ (villages), fishing, bird watching, tennis, swimming, bocce ball, croquet and health spa treatments (extra cost)Overnight at Loisaba Lodge on full board basis.

Day 6 – Masai Mara
Breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara. Your driver guide will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to camp with game viewing en-route. Overnight at Cottars 1920’s on full board basis.
Activities : 2 extended game drivers per day, guided walks, , bush breakfast or lunch or dinner,night game drives, massage, fishing.

Day 7 & 8 – Masai Mara
Breakfast. Game activities during the day. On one of the days you may opt for an early morning balloon excursion to experience the panoramic Mara from a birds-eye view (optional and not included in the price). Overnight at Cottars 1920’s on full board basis.

Day 9 – Depart
Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi and transfer to JKI Airport for your onward flight.
