Detailed Itinerary


Day 1 – Nairobi
On arrival in Nairobi, you will be welcomed by Naked Wilderness representative.  Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the all suite hotel –Norfolk Hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2 – Nairobi
After a good nights rest, you should be ready for some fun. Drive to Daphne Sheldrick orphanage to watch the tiny orphans at their baths and hear from their keepers how each one has been loved and brought up. Continue to Giraffe Centre where you will have an opportunity to feed the Rothschild giraffes. Thereafter you will drive to Carnivore for lunch and return to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Norfolk Hotel on half board basis basis.

Day 3 – Amboseli
After an early breakfast transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Amboseli. On arrival you will be met by your lodge vehicle and transferred to the beautiful camp. Afternoon game drive at the foothills of the Majestic Mt Kilimanjaro. With Kilimanjaro's 19,680-foot-high snow-capped peaks presiding over the landscape, the setting is unrivaled. Here is where the big game roam making  East Africa legendary—lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, and wildebeest. Almost nowhere else on the continent is more wild elephant seen than in Amboseli National Park. Overnight at Tortilis Camp on full board basis.

Day 4 – Amboseli
Breakfast. Morning and afternoon game activities. Clouds generally cloak this great mountain, brooding high over Amboseli National Park, but it does appear in all its snow-shrouded magnificence from time to time.
Mount Kilimanjaro was once a part of Kenya, but on the marriage of Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany, Queen Victoria offered it as the perfect gift to her beloved grandson, to whom the British colony Tanzania then belonged. Now, the mountain that provides water for Amboseli National Park also provides wonderful views and the most glorious background imaginable for animal photography. Overnight at Tortilis Camp on full board basis.

Day 5 – Amboseli/Nairobi/Laikipa
Early breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi and catch your connecting flight to Laikipia. On arrival you will be met by your lodge representative who will transfer you to your lodge. Afternoon game activities which include guided bush walks, camel assisted walking safaris, game drives, bush meals, cultural visits, river line fishing (seasonal).

Day 6 – Laikipia
This place is located on the high banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the Northern Laikipia district, overlooking beautiful elephant-adorned busy landscape and the rushing rocky waters below. It is a perfect destination for families due to the walking and river activities. Your Laikipiak Masai hosts have profound knowledge of the area and an extraordinary knack for passing on their knowledge about medicinal trees and shrubs or the life story of whatever beast last used the path. Morning and afternoon activities will enhance your insight into the rhythms of the bush and its inhabitatns. Overnight  at  Sabuk Lodge on full board basis.

Day 7 – Laikipia/Masai Mara
Breakfast at your lodge. Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Masa Mara. On arrival you will be transferred to your camp. Red-clad, with spear Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, admirably unmoved by the presence of large predators. Afternoon game activities include game drive, Nothing rivals sitting around the campfire enjoying the sounds of the African night.. Overnight at Mara Intrepids Camp on full board basis.

Day 8 – Masai Mara
Breakfast. Morning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular Mara North Conservancy to experience the sight and sounds of the African bush. game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities. Blessed with a permanent water supply, Masai Mara has a permanent population of plains game. The “big five” – elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino are quite common.
The kids adventure club teaches children on bush orientation – how to find your way through the bush using traditional methods (sun and stars). Basic first aid practical lessons, identify various African birds through their calls, bills , feet, habitats and plumage pattern. Tree identification and their importance. Mammal behavior with the rangers and more.
Overnight at Mara Intrepids Intrepids Camp on full board basis.

Day 9 – Depart
Breakfast at your camp. Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
