The Golf Course
The 18-hole championship Golf Course, designed by Tom Macauley, threads its way through coffee farms and indigenous forest, and boasts lush, springy fairways, fast, true greens and a sprinkling of challenging water hazards and 73 well located sand bunkers. This undoubtedly is the best course in Kenya and is said to be one of the best in Africa for a host of golfing events. The championship design and length of the course is the centre of attention and deservedly so. It threads its way through coffee farms and indigenous forests with high and low terrain, giving it character and design quality. The Golf Course boasts lush, springy fairways, fast, true greens and a sprinkling of attractive water hazards with 73 well located sand bunkers and unforgiving roughs make this course a truly challenging experience. Situated at an altitude of more than a mile above sea level, the ball will travel 10 yards further than at sea level. Even for the non-golfer the course is a beautiful walking experience luxuriating in the wonders of nature with bird life, fish, flora and fauna in abundance.

The camp operates throughout the year, the migration of wildebeest covers July through October, quickly followed by the birthing season from October to March. April and May offer the best opportunities for keen ornithologists and those wishing to enjoy the solitude and verdant green of the quiet season. Arrive at your tented camp in time for lunch. Day 6 & 7  - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early Morning and afternoon game drives in the MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE, Kenya’s best and most scenic game park. At the northern extremity of the unique Serengeti ecosystem, blessed with a permanent water supply, the Maasai Mara has a thriving, permanent population of plains game, augmented in the dry season by the migration of two million gnus and zebras from the vast, parched Serengeti plains. Of the hunter’s "big five," elephant, buffalo, lion, and leopard are quite common, while even the much rarer rhino might come out of the thicket for you. Hyenas are plentiful and the cheetah, a 60-miles-per-hour daytime hunter, is often seen. Besides being the setting for the ancient and often tragic spectacle of the Great Migration, other marvels of the Masai Mara include  giraffe, elephant, red-tailed monkeys and a host of antelope. Twice-daily interpretive game-drives led by our highly trained and experienced rangers, bird watching  with resident guides and naturalists reveal the wonders of the Mara . Optional excursions at an additional cost include: Bush walks, Maasai community visits and hot air ballooning.
Today you may opt for an early morning balloon excursion to experience the panoramic Mara from a birds-eye view (The Balloon excursion currently costs US$ 450.00 per person and this is not included in the tour package).
