Many travelers to Africa want to see the real wilderness of the bush and plain. This ideal safari features the whole range of Kenya’s and Tanzania’s natural beauty and wildlife. Starting with a unique treehotel experience, you continue through The Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha for some best bird watching in Kenya. Continue to the Masai Mara. Cross over to Serengeti, the breathtaking Ngorongoro and finally Lake Manyara before returning to Nairobi for the last night.

Day 1 – Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, after disembarking from the aircraft, you clear customs and immigration formalities. You will be met and assisted by a NAKED WILDERNESS AFRIKA representative You are transferred to your Nairobi Hotel which is situated within the city centre. The day is at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Intercontinental.

Day 2 – Treehotel (Mt Kenya region)
Mountain LodgeDrive via lush Kikuyuland to your all night game viewing lodge. From the balcony of the lodge you can see game coming to drink from the flood-lit waterhole. Overnight at Mountain Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 3– Lake Naivasha
Breakfast at your lodge. Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive. Lunch at a lodge in the park. Continue to Lake Naivasha – the highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley lakes. This area is famous for its birdlife – a breeding ground for pelicans, fish eagles, cormorants and more. You will also find other animals such as hippos, zebras antelopes, colobus monkeys. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge on full board basis.

Day 4 – Masai Mara
Traverse the Rift Valley and ascend its western rim into the Masai land. Red-clad, with spear Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, admirably unmoved by the presence of large predators. Afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. Overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge on full board basis.

Day 5 – Masai Mara
BuffaloMorning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities. The most spectacular feature is the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from the plains of Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara’s grasslands from late June, tracked by predators: lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and circled by vultures as the journey unfolds. Apart from the seasonal migration, game viewing is excellent year round. Game includes: - elephant, Black Rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, Burchell’s zebra, hartebeest, various antelope and gazelle, lion, leopard, giraffe, elephant cheetah, hippo, crocodile and much more. Overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge on full board basis.

Day 6 – Serengeti
After breakfast depart with picnic lunch to Isebania border where you will clear customs and board the Tanzanian Vehicles. Drive to your lodge situated in the Serengeti National Park with a game drive enroute. This enormous park supports every variety of animal imaginable - from large predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah to the smaller herbivores they prey on. Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 7 – Serengeti
Breakfast at your lodge. Morning and afternoon game drives. More than two million wildebeest, Thompson’s gazelle and zebra gather during the migration, attracting a great deal of attention from their predators such as lion, hyena, cheetah and leopard. Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 8 – Ngorongoro
NgorongoroAfter breakfast drive to drive to Olduvai Gorge, site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Continue to your lodge situated on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater. The crater covers over 250 square kilometres (over 100 square miles) of land and is the home of the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge full board basis.

Day 9 – Ngorongoro
Today you will descend 600m (0ver 2000 feet) to the floor of the crater for a full day crater tour with picnic lunch. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkey and elephant, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge on full board basis.

Day 10 – Lake Manyara
Breakfast at your lodge. Drive to Lake Manyara famous for its prolific bird-life and other inhabitants such as hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions Lunch at your lodge. This afternoon you will drive down for a game drive. Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge full board basis.

Day 11 – Arusha/Nairobi
After breakfast drive to Arusha to arrive in time for lunch at Impala Hotel. Transfer to Namanga border where you clear customs and board the Kenyan vehicles and drive to Nairobi. Overnight at Hotel Intercontinental.

Day 12 – Depart
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
