ITINERARY AT GLANCE

Moivaro Lodge is located on a working coffee plantation where you will find a charming atmosphere together with every comfort; Accommodation is in ensuite rooms with a private verandah. Other facilities include a swimming pool, a trail through the 40 acres of coffee plantation, restaurant and a bar.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro
Transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Lake Manyara Airstrip. From here you will be transferred by road to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. The crater covers over 100 square miles of terrain and is the home of the rare black rhino, lions, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo. Overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge – North or South Camp. (B,L,D)

The lodge is perched on the edge of the ancient crater rim above cool, swirling mists and is an architectural masterpiece. Rondavels are filled with graceful antiques, grand chandeliers and hand carved four poster beds. 2 camps of 12 suites , Tree Camp – 6 suites, all with ensuite bathrooms, private deck & lounge with fireplace. The lodge has a superb craft & curio shop.

Day 3 – Ngorongoro
Today you will descend 2000 feet (0ver 600 metres) to the floor of the crater for a full day crater tour with picnic lunch. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkey and elephant, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge – North or South Camp. (B,L,D)

Day 4 – Serengeti
After an early breakfast transfer to Lake Manyara Airstrip by road to catch your scheduled flight to Grumeti Airstrip – Serengeti. Transfer to your luxurious camp. Lunch at the Camp. Afternoon game drive in this enormous park which supports every variety of animal imaginable - from large predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah to the smaller herbivores they prey on. Overnight at Grumeti River Camp (B,L,D)

Grumeti River Camp overlooks a bywater of Grumeti River where wildebeest plunge through the waters, running the gauntlet of gigantic crocodiles, on their annual migration. Each of the 10 spacious twin-bedded tents, complete with en-suite bathrooms, lies along the banks of the river and hippo pools.

Day 5 & 6 - Serengeti
Breakfast at your camp. Morning and afternoon game drives to explore the Serengeti savannahs and woodlands, which boast the largest mass of free-ranging animals on earth, including wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, eland and giraffe as well as some of the highest densities of cheetah in Africa, huge prides of lions and solitary leopards. Overnight at Grumeti River Camp (B,L,D)

Day 7 – Depart
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip to catch your flight to Arusha. Transfer to Moivaro Lodge where you have dayrooms upto 17h00. Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport to catch your onward flight.
